History
Marc's father David Julovich was a cotton broker and merchant of Liverpool.
Marc left
his father in 1842 to work as an apprentice to Samuel Samson firm, who was a
stock market broker. In 1844, having demonstrated similar qualities to those of his father, he became a
partner in Samuel's business when the Royal Exchange (London)
opened by Queen Victoria on 28 October 1844. Marc
in time also involved in real
estate and banking business.
